Today we will pick up our cross, die to ourselves and live for God by praying and meditating. We have talked about this before. Praying is the talking part. Meditating is the answer part. You need both to have a conversation.
Now a lot of people say they don’t have time to pray but time is not the problem. It’s a “worth it” issue. If something is valuable to you, you will find the time. If your children are important to you, you will find the time to be with them. If your health is important to you, you will find time to work out. The problem is that if we can’t find time to pray we are subconsciously saying that we don’t think that it is worth it. That it doesn’t really matter. That God is not really there for us. That prayer doesn’t mean anything, doesn’t change anything. Is this what you believe – deep down? Think about it. What do you truly believe? If God is important to you, you will find time to pray. Make it a priority in your life.
Peace be with you.
