Fighting Demons

They say you must fight demons.  Hate them.  And the demons keep getting stronger.  Why?  That which we call Demons and Satan are merely Angels with a great lack of Love.  We do not need to fight the Devil, the Fallen or Demons?  Jesus did not fight them.  He cast them out.  The end.  There was no great fight, no special ceremony.  He said go and they went.

Yeah, well He’s God.

Well, if He’s God then you should believe Him when He talks to you.

“For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

And again…

“Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.” John 14:12

So the question is: Do you believe Him or not?

But what faith do you have to have to cast out demons?

Well, who are the demons and Satan but your enemy, your only enemy.

“But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven.”  Matthew 5:44-45

Because they are creations of God, they were created good.  Even the Devil was created good.  God made everything good, but the Demons and the Fallen have chosen to turn away.  And now the dark, evil, terrible things are spiritually insane with the insatiable longing for the Love, for what once was, for who they could have been.  And all these terrible, dark, evil things need God’s love and hate themselves because of that need.  Everything needs God’s Love.  They have deprived themselves, through their own actions, hating themselves even more than they hate everything else.  For all of their wicked deeds are hollow and give them an even greater emptiness that they need to fill.  But make no mistake!  I am not telling you this to feel sorry for them.  That will cause you to be lead astray.  Pitying them blackmails you into resenting God.  They wanted this path for themselves.  They chose it.  And they have not repented it.

So how do you fight Satan and all his demons with love?

Fill yourself with God’s Love and with that Love tell them in Jesus’ name to go. Tell them to go, knowing what they are, knowing that Jesus will cast them out.  When you are filled with God’s Love not their fear they cannot touch you and they will run from that Love as they have been doing their entire lives.

Peace be with you.
